Spent a whole day dloading this, then I start installing and after few minutes get this message - "An error ocurred while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted."
the file is characters.vpp_pc, i had the option to retry, abort or ignore but ignoring that and I get the message again for a different file. Guess i'll try dloading from another source

@afcaremco, to find the error reports goto your control panel then find admistrator tools,from there find goto event viewer, then open windows logs and click on applications,this will then have your most recent errors from top to bottom.

i figues out the secur32.dll error. If your running a 32 bit windows only copy the .exe files and not the steam files over from the skidrow folder. and you cannot have steam installed or it just opens steam. Only problem now is the games runs but you cannot save for some reason.hoping the patch fixes this. hope this helps:-)

Game works good. I haven't experienced any issues that previous posts describe. Only Problem I have acquired is the Display settings do not save. If I quit the game and restart it the Display settings go from 1680 x 1050, WINDOWED, ULTRA back to default. Any way to fix this? If not I guess its not really a big issue. Everything is workin fine but i have 1 problem:

the game keeps freezing randomly - but not in a slowdown way, like theres a timer, and then the image freeze for few seconds, while the sound is still going on, and then it continue as nomal, it dosen't matter what's going on in the screen - non-action, cutscenes, just keeps happening.

I run it in 60 FPS but freezing makes it unplayable,i updated the drivers,direct x,changed it to run on 2 cores,set priority to low,high and nothing works.

There are alot of people with same problem,if someone knows the solution pls, help...

I downloaded this, installed it, and played it for about 2 hours and had no problems. There is no infinite ammo or anything to ruin the game for me. I've had to unlock everything. Nothing except for the DLC guns were there already.

ok were all set! Xav's SKIDROW fix disabled all the dlc that advances u ingame and just left the things i wanted. not the easiest thing to set up but the game is pretty fun so far.

Here is the TRUTH about this torrent...

The Game WORKS in DirectX9 mode only (in XP compatibility mode)
If you run the DX11 mode the game crashes within seconds of playing.
I have tried the DX11 .exe in Vista Compatibility, I have moved the directory to the C drive. I have set the affinity of the .exe to only use 2 cores on my quad core. I have tried a custom display.ini. I have tried 5 different cracks.
My GFX Card is DX10 (GTX 260 216SP) but the DX11 mode is for 10&11. If you wanna play in DX9 mode, fine... But if you want a fully working SR3, this isn't it.
